This course is for people who want to develop their interest in performing arts to a high academic level and/or gain employment in the performing arts industry.
What do you need to apply for the course?
This course is for adults and learners over the age of 16. A positive attitude towards your studies is essential. Learners require a high level of English. We are happy to provide intensive English lessons where needed.

How will you learn?
The course has been designed for you to enter the performing arts industry through production design and performance planning and management routes. There will be regular opportunities to showcase all learners’ talents throughout the programme.
The programme will guide you through a range of topics within the performing arts family via our own specialists as well a network of guest speakers and visitors. We will provide you with insight into the work of performers and the professionals who support them.
For your final project you will have the chance to research, plan, design and stage your own performance. This invaluable opportunity will allow you to apply the skills you have learned throughout the course.
Where could this course take you?
You may progress onto a relevant top-up year degree programme at a UK university. This qualification has been designed to develop the skills, knowledge and experience required for progression directly into employment in the Performing Arts industry. Professions include Performer, Impresario, Facilities Manager, Set Designer, Costume Designer, and Make-up Artists.
